If you hold different currencies
The half can leave from either balance.
One of you sits in SGD, the other in USD. The grocery share is still one send. Conversion runs on the hop, or you convert first.

Who you pay, whether you need two bank apps, and what a grocery half costs.
Do we need a joint account to split household costs?
No. Each of you holds Starryblu. The person who paid the shop or the landlord receives the share. Confirm the name on screen every time.
Can one send cover a month of shared bills?
Each cost is its own ID Transfer. Send the grocery half, then the rent share, as separate amounts. ID Remit does not batch a household ledger for you.
My partner is not on Starryblu yet. Can I still settle?
Yes. They create a receive link in the official app. You pay that link. Skip any link that did not come from Starryblu.
We hold different currencies. Can I still send my half?
Yes. Send from the balance you have. Conversion runs in the same hop, or convert first. No extra conversion fee. The rate is on the confirm screen.
Is a S$ 38 dinner half worth sending?
Yes. The ID transfer fee is S$ 0 at any size, and they do not pay one to receive. Arrival is within 1 second after you confirm.
